This comprehensive kit also corrects many
of the problems that can lead to early failure of the original transmission.
This kit addresses the problems of:
- premature band failure;
- inadequate lube oil resulting in burned planetaries;
- converter damper shopring failure and lock-up clutch burnup;
- weak 2nd and 3rd shift;
- lock-up shudder;
- converter drainback causing slow engagements.

- revised valves, springs, seals, filter, pan gaskets, shaft
seal and drain plug kit;
- comprehensive detailed instructions that not only tell what
to do, but also explain the effects of such modification;

- inside the container lid is a detailed breakdown view of the
valve body for use as a working reference;

This kit includes an additional governor pressure control valve which will
allow operating pressure to be raised for heavy duty use without setting an error code in the computer. This increased
operating pressure provides greater holding power of the bands, clutch packs and torque converter to prevent slippage
and heat build up. Increased lubricating pressure of the planetaries is also extremely important when operating
these transmissions in heavy duty applications.
